Owners John Eric and Karla Thomas opened their first location in their hometown Rayne, La in 1994.
In 2007, we opened a "little" drive through in Crosby, Tx that quickly outgrew us originally known as Crawfish Hut. In 2010, we broke ground to build where we are located today and opened our doors in May 2011 as Louisiana Crawfish Hut. In 2014, we changed the name to John E's Restaurant as we wanted the community to know we are more than just crawfish.
